Wedding Catering: The Process

We aim to make choosing your perfect wedding menu as easy (and fun) as possible. Keep reading to learning more about our simple process.

Step 1: Do your research

We are a custom wedding caterer – we don’t have set menus and we offer a much wider range than the traditional choice of chicken or fish.

That’s why we suggest every couple check out our sample wedding menus

There you will find a collection of catering inspiration – informed by menus past couples have loved.

Step 2: Contact us

Fill out our contact form or give us a call during business hours.

Find our contact form here.

Phone Number: 206.932.9497

Email: inquiries [@] onsafarifoods [.] com

Step 3: Collaborate

A member of our talented events team will reach out ASAP upon receiving your call or contact form inquiry.

After connecting, you both can discuss your vision for the day, any important details, and your ideal wedding menu.

Things to think about:

  1. What is your theme?
  2. Are you looking for something casual or more high-end?
  3. Are there any dietary restrictions?
  4. Do you want rental items?
  5. Plated service or buffet?

Step 4: Review

Your event planner will send you a proposal with everything discussed in Step 3.

Please review your proposal carefully.

Be sure to make note of any questions you have or any adjustments you would like to make.

Step 5: Perfect

Contact your event planner with any questions or adjustments.

Keep repeating Steps 3 and 4, fine-tuning your proposal, until it fits your needs and desires.

Don’t be shy! It’s your day and we want to help make sure it’s absolutely perfect.

Tastings

Tastings are available to any couple who wishes to schedule one.

We do ask that you have contacted us and collaborated on an initial proposal, before scheduling your tasting.

Tastings are free for parties who have already confirmed their wedding with On Safari Foods, and are $150 for non-confirmed parties.

If you confirm after the tasting, the $150 fee will go towards your final bill.

If you are looking to taste our food in a more informal setting, we strongly suggest coming for lunch at our boutique cafe in SODO. Our cafe offers a rotating menu of seasonal items, and is a delicious (low-commitment) way to try our food.
